Are European airlines doing enough to make their greenhouse gas reporting clear and credible?

In our new publication, “Airline sustainability reporting in Europe: Progress, compliance and challenges” we systematically evaluated greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reporting practices of 16 European airline groups, covering both mandatory and voluntary key performance indicators (KPIs) under evolving regulatory frameworks.

This work is a core part of the AZERO project, which is part of the Marie Curie Fellowship (MSCA) assess whether the European aviation industry can truly meet its Net Zero 2050 targets.
